Jeff McAllister

Hi, y’all! I’m a senior-level UI/UX Designer and Art Director with an agency background. I’m currently relocating from Austin, TX to the San Diego area.

I’ve spent half of my career in advertising and the other half solving problems and creating practical user experiences. I feel the combination of the two makes for a well-rounded designer who understands how visual design and branding engage users and proper interaction design provides users with a positive experience.

Work has been performed for advertising agencies, design firms, start-ups and nearly everything in-between. Most of my industry time has been spent in Creative Suite, designing for online and mobile experiences and leading design teams to achieve client goals. I can design to any audience and can code anything I design from a front-end standpoint.

Projects today, typically begin with a solid architecture and UX design before moving into visual design and ultimately development. I have a true passion for finding the right solution for each client and taking the project from sketches on a napkin to launch.

When I’m not behind my computer, my other passion is house renovation and home improvement projects in general. I’m a self-proclaimed gear-head, enjoy wrenching on cars or motorcycles, collect skateboards and recently got into boxing and weight training. I’m also the parent of two rescued pit bulls and involved with the Austin non-profit, Love-A-Bull.

Shoot me an email if you’d like to see any specific design samples.
