The landing environment was very simple and designed to a) inform users of the event series and upcoming dates b) allow users to learn more about the featured artists and stream their music via Spotify. Shown is what went into production.
Given the target audience (aspiring hip-hop musicians, DJ’s, producers, etc) and Spotify streaming capabilities, a user-friendly interface was essential. Mobile first.
Some of the logo options initially presented. Although client opted to feature their own “icon”, to accompany the series title, I still had fun creating options for this genre.
Same in content but this version I really tried to push the direction to tie in more closely with current artists websites. It’s a little more “blown out” and features a more expanded view of the calendar.
Mobile version of the above. The calendar would function as a show/hide when interacting.
