Solspec
The Colorado-based company uses drones and arial analytic software to capture imagery and analyze risk mitigation for oil and gas, mining and solar industries. Being big on photography, this project was exciting as I was able to use amazing assets which started to take on a National Geographic feel. My role was to create cohesive branding elements as defined the overall user experience.
Homepage
I made use of the bold photography and the overall layout was based on more of a “deconstructed grid”. I feel the layout makes for a more interesting composition and guides the user down the page as they read and digest information. I made use of the topographic maps as background imagery for added interest.
About
Between the ample usage of white space and the splashes of color from illustrations, the page is very simple in terms of content but visually appealing at the same time.
